My SAR hounds love it! My search & rescue hounds love the coat. I only wish the belly flaps were a bit longer...for deep chested dogs. You might want to consider sizing up. I went a size larger than the size chart...L vs. M and now wish I'd ordered even an XL. Even so it is a great jacket and my dogs really appreciate the cutout fit so there is no restriction. Have not had to use them on a water search yet but am sure they will work beautifully.

Ruff Wear Life Jacket is Great!! The Ruff Wear Life Jacket is tremendous. I have a three legged Lab who was in need of support while she swam with her brother and sister. She wanted terribly to keep up with them and now in the water she can. It is amazing how she has been able to swim with it. She was swimmng without one but the look on her face was too much to bear. Now Mandy swims with confidence, jumps in water over her head without out any fear. Just last week she realized she could lay down in the water and not worry. It was quite a site!!
