bulky but okay Used this on a back country backpacking trip in Yosemite. My main complaint is its bulk. It's very light, and fine to sleep on, but impossible to pack tighter than an ~8" diameter roll. The weather was unseasonably warm during the trip, so I can't speak to its insulation properties, but it did seem to keep most of the lumps and bumps from intruding upon my bones.

Great sleeping pad! Very light, high quality sleeping pad--also good to put under a Thermarest inflatable pad in snowy conditions.

great pad I used inflatables for years and although they are very good insulators in the winter, they are also slippery at times and difficult to stay on top of. The ridge rest does not have this problem. I bought this when I first went light weight and will never regret it. It is very comfortable AND light.
