High end appearence and comfortable fit Great looking and the fit is exactly what I hoped for. It is hard to find XL-Short in any outfitter stores. The suspenders are awkward to get into, but can be removed if that becomes an issue. These are my first pair of Mt. Hardwear pants, but I have great expectations they will perform exceptionally well.

Great ski pants! I bought my defiant pants about 5 years ago, putting in 40 days plus each year of skiing. The best ski pants out there for the price. These pants are fantastic. Keep you warm on artic days up on the mountain and cool on warm spring days as well. Also, they keep you dry. What more could you ask for. No need to spend $300 or more on ski pants unless you are out there for style.
