Very Practical If you want to avoid chafing from shorts and want to have the ultimate in ventilation, a kilt/skirt is the way to go, assuming you don't mind the curious stares.

Love Mine! I have 3 of these and wear them every chance I get. The comfort is unbelievable. Guys, if you have never experienced the sensation of wearing a skirt/kilt and having the breeze right where it counts most, you are missing a simple pleasure which societal conventions have denied you. To heck with said conventions -- get yourself one of these and don't look back!

Would Wear it Every Day I love this item. I'd wear it everyday if I could. Fit is extremely comfortable. Heck with those who think skirts are just for girls.
