Outdoor Research: LightHaven Shelter

The Outdoor Research LightHaven is a portable, pocket-sized temporary shelter that gives two adults space for a picnic or a rest break out of the rain, wind or snow. Outdoor Research minimized the weight by keeping the floor exposed to open ground. You'll need to bring along a pair of trekking poles or skis to pitch the LightHaven out in the open. This lightweight design can also be pitched by running guylines through nearby tree branches. The lightweight silnyl fabric is highly durable and helps trap warm air to provide minor insulating warmth, making the LightHaven a great packable emergency shelter. A zippered vent opening and crescent moon door openings help enhance the airflow without letting in all the extra weather. Reflective accents along the guyline loops make it easy to spot the LightHaven with any flashlight.
