Great Pant and Short These pants are great for traveling. I can wear them through airports and they look fine. When I get to my destination, I zip off the legs and I'm ready to go hiking. It saves having to take along extra clothes.

great pants for hiking and backpacking These pants are well engineered, durable, and work great for hiking and backpacking. I really like how the waist fits and does not chafe under my pack hipbelt. The integrated webbing belt, full inseam gusset, and ankle bungies are important features to me. The pants dry out very fast, and are lightweight. I don't like the feel of zippers on convertible pants, and I carry a separate pair of shorts when I am trekking, so these work really well for me when I want to wear long pants.
