Great bag, light and compact, strong design, not warm enough I purchased a set of these bags for use in Northeast early summer camping, where temps were reaching the mid to low 40s at night. We didn't find the bags to be warm enough (both women), despite the 32 degree rating. All other features of the bag were wonderful; loft, compressibility, comfort of the materials (especially the hood) and durability. I've returned this set, and purchased the Ultralamina with a 15 degree rating as replacements.

Warm, light and compactible. Great on 12-day backpacking trek. I purchased this bag for my teenage son to take on a 12-day 70-mile backpacking trip at Philmont in New Mexico (late July to early Aug). Since this was a Boy Scouts' trek, down sleeping bags were not permitted for scouts. We chose this synthetic filled bag because of its lightweight and compactness for backpacking. This bag worked very well on the trip. It was warm enough for the weather that varied over the 2 weeks, including an unexpected ice storm. The bag comes with a compression sack that compacts the bag to about the size of a sack of flour. This allowed the bag to be carried within the backpack where it could be kept dry during Philmont's "monsoon" season.

Great for backpacking I have used the Ultralamina 32 on a couple 3-5 day backpacking trips, and I am totally satisfied with it. I really haven't found another bag that combines its features for the same price. I bought it because it is lightweight (less than 2 lb.) and packs up very small (6 x 11 inches)...perfect for an extended trip. My wife gave this bag her stamp of approval at 40 degrees, which tells me any normal person would be comfortable at 32 degrees. I liked this bag enough to buy a second one.

Is this Useful? - Yes - No ( 3 of 4 thought this was useful.)
