Warmth in All Conditions First wore these mitts on a 3-day backcountry hut trip in CO and endured sub-zero degree temps, 40mph winds and plenty of powder. The gloves kept my hands and fingers warm and dry and gave me enough dexterity to adjust snowshoes, strap on a snowboard and get stuff out of my pack without having to take off the outer mitt. The inner gloves were also quick to dry in front of a fire and woodburning stove.
