Good for layering; not for freezing temps. This jacket suited my purposes as an outer shell for layering for my trip to Alaska. It could not double as a winter coat and it is a little starchy. However, it is well constructed and I did receive a few compliments for the overall looks.

Best Ski Coat Ever Love the coat, finally a coat that keeps me warm, dry and protected from the wind! Altrec delivered the absolute best in price, customer service and shipping. Would definately recommend to those who want to be warm without all of the bulk of down.

Great! This jacket was great on the ski slopes. The weather was colder than I expected but I was warm with layers underneath and its a great wind breaker. I got the blue one and love the color.
