Fits great, doesn't breath I loved these shoes when I tried them on, and they fit perfect from the start, and didn't need any "breaking in". They were exactly the style I was looking for too. However, they do not breath at all, and my feet and the shoes stink everytime I wear them, and they stay damp in the cushion for a day or more. I don't usually have these kinds of issues with shoes. They also turn my heals black (typical of black leather however). I am also having a problem with discoloration of the leather where the crease (from the walking movement)in the toe area near where the leather and the sole meet. I really want to like these shoes, but the clausterphobia my feet are feeling is driving me crazy.

extremely cute AND comfortable alot of Merrells I have seen are too 'boyish' for me, but these are very feminine but of course, extremely comfy and functional

Perfect I can wear these all day long. After I bought the taupe pair I went back and bought the black pair. They're smart looking and extremely comfortable. Love them.
