The peripatetic climbers and skiers of the universe count good high-loft insulation right alongside chili-mac and a working heater as road-trip essentials. Durable and warm, the new Micro Puff Jacket uses earth-friendly materials; the shell, lining and insulation are made from recycled polyester.
The tough, windproof Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) shell houses warm-when-wet synthetic insulation that's compressible but won't clump, separate or drift, thanks in part to the interior quilting design. The main zipper is DWR (durable water repellent) treated, the elbows are articulated, and it has invisible zippered pockets and an interior mesh drop-in pocket. Quilted side panels add to the feminine shaping. Stuff sack included. Regular fit.

Double-ripstop polyester (90% recycled) with a Deluge® DWR treatment

Super warm! Bought this for my daughter who used it at 17,000 ft in Nepal. She loved it and said it was toasty warm. Only wish it were maybe a couple inches longer in the torso. Great as well for going out on the town for dinner on a chilly night as the cut is very feminine.

Wears like a warm sweater. Functional and cute. I've been wanting this jacket since wearing my husbands micropuff. My priority in a jacket is comfort, fit, warmth, weight, style and quality at a "fair" price. This jacket is all of these things except the ASKING price. I gave it four stars because of the $180 retail price which I did not pay. I got it on sale here at Altrec for less than half that. So for me it is the perfect jacket at the price I paid Also my husbands micropuff was constructed of different materials with primaloft insulation. I don't know that the "recycled" materials in this jacket are going to hold up as well as his did. I'm a bit skeptical. Only time and wear will tell. All in all I truly LOVE this jacket and would highly recommend it at a fair asking price or if it's on sale.

Disappointed in fit. It's warm and a nice color ( winter sky ) however, it is not fitted. There is no shape at the waist and it makes me feel sloppy. I am 5'4" and weigh 119lbs.
