above average Overall a great boot. Girlfriend loves the style and look too. Could be a little bit more insullation for extreme temps, but really they work great.

Love 'em I got these after being tired of having cold feet. I wore them out of the box, and there were great. I like them too because I can get my orthotic in it.

Great for snowshoes I had a blast this weekend snowshoeing with my new Chilkats boots. I agree with one reviewer that they are a little stiff on top right now, but I'm sure they will soften up with age. I wore them all around Tahoe this weekend, out to dinner, foodshopping, as well as the snowshoeing and could not be more pleased with the warmth, the styling and the cost. Great buy.
