Great winter layering shirt. I decided to switch from synthetics to wool this winter and I started with this shirt. I have not regretted the decision and I am now looking for more wool base layers. I crew on Lake Union in WA and the cold starts on the water can become warm fast. The OR Essence shirt keeps me warm long enough for the first part of practice and keeps me cool for the rest of it. The shirt fit a little larger than I expected. I am usually a small and had to get an extra small. The shirt measures approximately 45cm(18inches) from underarm to underarm when laid flat.
