Cool, light, and does its job I totally love this jacket. It performs well under the rain and it is very light weight. It is supposed to be used as rain gear and that is what it does best. It isn't a good wind breaker and it doesn't keep you very warm if you do not have additional layers underneath.

Great jacket, awesome customer service! I haven't yet had a downpour in which to test my new Marmot Impulse jacket, but so far so good. The material quality was great and the jacket was true-to-size. Altrec customer service was awesome [thanks, Aubrey!], reinforcing my impression that I made a good purchase at a great price from an excellent company.

Light versatile Jacket This jacket is comfortable and light. I am excited to going camping and backpacking this summer in the NW because it is going to be a versatile piece of clothes.
