A large pack design compressed into a performance utility package, the new for 07 Gregory Z22 Backpack is ultra light with a unique Jet Stream DTS (Dynamic Transfer System) suspension system. Like big brother, the harness system is mounted to the main pack on crisscrossing bars. A tensioning system that stiffens the frame and offers additional support when more weight is loaded into the pack, keeps the pack off your back for maximum airflow, while dynamically adjusting with the weight in your pack. Ideal for daylong fast packing adventures including mountain traverses, hiking, peak bagging, and adventure racing, this pack handles up to 25 pounds of gear comfortably in its 1,300 cubic inch capacity. The simple panel loading main pocket features a hydration sleeve, a small zipper pocket on top, and stretchy mesh outer pockets for random extras. The hip-belt stash pockets provide easy access of sunscreen, energy bars, MP3, and quick need necessities.

Sweet pack! I was looking for a pack that was lighter then my current pack, but heavier then my biking bag, and this completely fit the bill. I consider myself a recreational hiker at most. I ended up choosing the silver color. After I bought it I realized everything I have is a neutral shade of gray, and I wish I had went with the yellow instead. After receiving the bag in the mail though it turned out to be pretty cool looking. There is some contrast between the panels, and I almost want to say it has a tint to it. The compartments vary in size for function. The quick access pouch in the back is nice, and the main compartment is pretty roomy. This bag has a lot of straps to keep things tight and secure when you need it. I have no problem securing my keen sandals to either side. I do wish that the waist strap was a little thinner. It's 'wide' because it has 2 pouches on either side. This is very very minor, I just never had a bag like this before and it feels strange. I'm sure I'll get used to it. The way it sits off the back is pretty cool. My heavier bag sits right on the back and irritates me over a long hike. Id buy this again, especially at the sale price.

My husband is jealous of my new bag I just used this bag at the Chicago triathlon and was pleased with how well all of my gear fit in it. It is easy to bike in and very comfortable.

Great UL daypack The pack is very comfortable on short and long trips. The adjustable shoulder straps help put the weight where it needs to be for any slope. It is indeed a great pack.
