A True Generalist I had a chance to use these on my lightweight mountaineering boots and the fit and performance were excellent. While I haven't had a chance to use them on the mountain on my tele boots, I have strapped them on to check the fit. The length just fits when fully extended (I wear 27.5 Garmonts),the width really pushes the crampons' toes to their limit. I want to try them out in the snow and see if the fit creates any problems; there's enough space between the crampon and the boot sole that I think balling may be a problem, even with the ABS plates. I will follow up in November or December after I have a chance to try them out.
