High quality materials and workmanship with good support This is my third pair of North Face hiking shoes. The quality and workmanship is excellent. They are comfortable and supportive on all types of terrain. They are rugged and last. I would recommend these shoes to anyone into light to moderate hiking.

Great light hiker Perfect for high-impact trail running, as they are actually water-proof, which is rare to see in a x-trainer. (It's certainly a heavier x-trainer rather than a "light-hiker".) Feels solid so far, certainly recommended.

Very Comfortable These are my second pair of Hedgehogs. The only problem I had with the first pair is that one of the little plastic eyes for the laces broke about a year and half into using them. Hope that doesn't happen with my new pair. Extremely comfortable with tons of support. I use these shoes to hike in the woods with my dog and to get around in the city on the weekends. They are a little heavy at first but once you get used to them, it is like walking on air.
