Bad fit and a really heavy shoe. I generally love Merrell's, but these shoes were very disappointing. They ran at least a half size too small and they were very heavy and clunky to wear.

An awesome shoe I've always loved Merrell but these shoes have been the best so far. I haven't gotten to use them on my usual long backpacking trips of 20 or miles per day but I've used them for several shorter (6-8 miles) hikes and never had to break them in and never had a problem. Plus they are stylish enough that I can wear them even if I'm not hiking. Thanks!

well made and comfortable I keep coming back to Merrell. These shoes are great for warmer weather and light in weight for long days on the trail. They are nicely padded at the heel and can be laced firmly for support without putting pressure on the top of the foot. I am very particular about my shoes and these are just about perfect!
