Awesome out of the box I got these boots because of the good reviews and I have to add to those reviews. Out of the box, they were comfortable. I love the way the insert stabilizes my heel. These boots are comfortable, and make just walking down the street really enjoyable. I bought a 1/2 size up from my usual - I'm an 8 1/2 and I purchased a nine and they fit perfectly.
