Excellent boot for urban and rural hiking! This is a great shoe! Very comfortable, keeps my ankles stable, waterproof, and warm in cold weather. I walk to work everyday and would suggest these boots for a 5+ mile walk. They do run a little big but not enough to make you feel like your foot is all over the place.
