Fit Tip for the Women's Minimalist II Boardie: I wear a size 2 or extra small in Patagonia. I found these shorts to be true to size. I would recommend sizing up if you like your shorts to be a loose fit. Also, they run low around the waist, especially in the back.

Many Mahalos Patagonia As a 5'2, middle aged, dedicated surfer, I have been exasperated by the lack of "real" board shorts for women. Thank you Patagonia for making a board short with a perfect fit and a zipper pocket with a key loop. From experience, keys can be easily ripped out of a velcro pocket. Women have car keys too, just like men. Finally.......I don't have to worry about my keys. I love my board shorts...........

Great shorts! These shorts fit true to size, and are very comfortable. They are just the right length, not too short nor long. I am thrilled to have been able to get them on sale!
