They're flip-flops. Just make sure your feet aren't too skinny. I've been wearing these for the last few weeks, for walking round my neighborhood & such, and they're pretty solid. Good colors, ample squish, and the "never stop exploring" emblazoned on the foot bed is pretty cute. Though, I guess my feet are fairly skinny 'cause I had to shorten the straps a lil' bit by pinching & sewing them. Now they fit fine.
