I suggest you buy a hydration system with this I got a Deuter pack recently, they are really well built, and the price is very competitive. One cool feature, is that most of them come with features to add a hydration pack. While I originally thought hydration packs were dorky, after investing $30 in one I have changed my tune. They are an awesome thing to have. Just make sure that you get something bigger than 50oz(that is only 1.5liters).

size matters This is a great pack. It's comfortable and the construction is great. The strap adjustability helps me grow into it as I get taller, I'm only 14! I would definitely get another deuter if mine gets stolen because I know this bag is going to last a long time.

If you are 6 foot or taller consider the 55+10 I bought the 45+10 last month and took it on a short 3 day trip in Sequoia National Park. It is very well designed and the quality of construction is A+. I bought the Camelback Classic hydration pack and it worked great. I didn't feel that the fit was exactly right for me so I exchanged it for the 55+10 and it is perfect. I got positive comments from my fellow hikers , this is a great pack at a price under $200.00
