Full-strength edge-tape is used to spread out the load over the entire width of the belt, while a new exclusive Mammut Slide Bloc buckle on hip belt eliminate the need to double-back. Additional features include a Trapezoidal Y leg loop that is anatomical fit, tie-ins with protector guards to minimize wear and tear, four stiffened cord gear loops, haul loop, and functional drop seat buckle.
