Constructed from heavyweight 100% cotton sandstone duck with a nylon lining quilted to arctic-weight polyester insulation, the Carhartt Sandstone Traditional Coat with Arctic Lining for Men is tough against even the coldest weather.
When the mercury drops and the wind picks up, the rib-knit storm cuffs and a corduroy collar help to keep the heat in and the cold out. The Standstone traditional coat has split back design and pleated elbows so you can have complete range of motion while staying warm on the job.

Corduroy top collar with snaps underneath for optional hood
Two-way, brass zipper front and wind flaps with hook-and-loop closure

Well made. 1 small problem - MINE Coat is well made with good range of motion. The only problem is that the hook & loop closures on wind flap hook my beard. Would try Sandstone Ridge Coat - Sherpa Lined, were it available in Med. Tall, in as much as this drawback doesn't exist on that model. If not for this problem, I would rate with 5 Stars.

Extremely HIGH QUALITY I bought this coat for my son, He absolutely loves it and so do I, it is a really quality heavy duty coat that we are sure will last for years. Excellent quality!! The coat is great looking too!!

Indestructibly ideal for northern New Mexico mountain winters. Indestructibly ideal for northern New Mexico mountain winters when and where a lighter, but relatively more fragile down jacket wouldn't suffice.
