A Carhartt classic, our Hamilton jacket is made of 8.5-ounce 100% top quality cotton canvas with a polyester and cotton poplin lining. Its features include two inside pockets with hook-and-loop closure, two front hand pockets, and a zippered exterior left chest pocket. Pleated elbows add to ease of movement. Cuffs are snap-adjustable, and the back is designed with a drop tail for added coverage.

Excellent Men's Hamilton Jacket I purchased the jacket in dark brown. I was completely satisfied with the style, weight, comfort and length (perfect). But I do have a gripe: the jacket is advertised on the website AND the tag on the jacket itself: "Its features include two inside pockets with hook-and-loop closure." Not true. The two pockets have a cheap square velcro closure. Glad it's not noticeable. One of the reasons I chose the jacket was that I was attracted to the hook-and-loop, a more upscale feature. But the velcro is sadly a detraction, not the attraction I had been "promised." Not enough to return the garment, mind, but a disappointment nonetheless. Hence the 4 stars and not 5.
