Exactly what I expected I use this jacket for my cold weather, pre-dawn exercise sessions on public streets. It provides enough protection from the cold when I begin my walk, but is light enough that I'm not too hot once I've warmed up. The high-viz keeps me safe. My only complaint: the zipper is a bit stiff. I assume it will loosen as the garment ages.
