It's a water shoe This would be a great water shoe. My intentions for buying this shoe was to have a well-cushioned casual shoe to wear with jeans, pants, and the likes. I felt that this was not the shoe for that. However if you want a shoe to get wet and do not need a lot of cushion then this is the one. I would also compare this one similar to Keen-Lisbon.

Comfy; Passes for Work Shoe I really like these--very comfortable. If you have Keen sandals already, you know how these will feel. A little on the warm side in summer, but that's true of any leather shoe. I wear these to work (I'm a professor) and they look dressy enough for my rather casual campus. The color is even a little more olive drab than the picture shows; I have no idea why they would name this color Stone Grey unless it fades a lot over time.

Great shoes These shoes are so comfortable. I have yet to test them in the wet weather. I highly recommend these shoes!!
