Great jacket for a little one! This is a perfect jacket for early-mid fall or spring in New England. The wild orchid is a beautiful muted color and goes well with all of my daughter's other clothing. (I appreciate not having the same bright pink or blue color choices for a baby!) I got the 18 month size for my 23 pound, 31.5 inch tall 11 month old, and it fits her very well with a little room to grow. (Check size chart, as Columbia tends to run a little smaller than other brands.) The fleece is high quality and has not pilled nor shrunk after several washings. I was worried that the mock neck might annoy my daughter, but it doesn't at all and helps keep her neck warm on brisk days. Also, the jacket is easy to zip - a must for a squirmy child! I highly recommend this product.
