my favorite shorts!!! Super fast drying, lightweight nylon feels great! Perfect fit with elastic on the sides and a lightweight belt. The silver ridge II has a larger 7th zippered pocket next to the left side pocket. Side and back pockets are mesh and very large. Make sure to note that these come in 10 inch and 12 inch lengths. My pair of silver ridge I shorts have held up perfectly so I expect the same of these. I have never been so comfortable and cool in any other shorts!

Perfect hikers These shorts are awesome for any outdoor activity. Comfortable, cool, stylish and functional. I just bought two pairs of the 12inch inseam after owning three pairs of the Silver Ridge convertible pants. The shorts on those are a bit short for a 6'5" guy, but these 12 inchers are great!

The best short for backpacking I've found so far. Hard to beat the feel of cotton, but these shorts will be lightweight, quickdrying, and spot on for hiking if the seasons ever change over from Winter to Spring in the N.W.!
