Light and Wet The Good: Great lightweight tent. The lightest good quality tent you can find for the price. Easy to set up, packs small. The Bad: Really a one person tent. You'll be lucky if you can fit some gear in it - also no vestibule. The Ugly: Condensation. Everytime I've used this tent in cold weather I've woke up with tons of condensation inside the tent. If its cold enough the inside will be covered in ice. Last night it was just wet. Wet enough to be dripping down on me. That is why I will replace it for hikes that don't require an ultralight pack.

You wont even know it's in your pack. I love the Dyad 22. It is the lightest two person tent I could find. The price is good too. It is simple to set up and takes less then 3 minutes to have your pad and bag inside. This tent beats a tarp, because it is waterproof all the way around, and you get bug protection. It packs small and is light. I found the inside room to be perfect (no extra wiggle room). I am 5'10" 175lbs, my wife is 5'3" 120 lbs and we fit fine with our two packs at our feet. I rate this tent a five. Its light, packs small, waterproof, bug proof, easy to set up, and the price is good. Happy hiking.

Perfect tent for Philmont I used this tent for 11 nights at Philmont (Boy Scout Ranch in New Mexico) and it was terrific. Lightweight and I wanted the space of a 2-man tent for myself for that long of a trip. Tent is very well made - easy to put up by yourself and rolls up easily to go back into the compression sack.

Is this Useful? - Yes - No ( 1 of 2 thought this was useful.)
