Great pants especially for their intended purpose I'm a size 32 and the waist and inseam were perfect. The pants have a good amount of stretch and I love the seam placement. perfect for a climbing harness. Very comfortable pants.

excellent all-around outdoor pant These pants are nearly the only pants I wear in the outdoors; hiking, climbing, backpacking, they're great. The fabric stretches enough that you never notice it. High-stepping, scrambling, whatever, they've never felt restrictive. The waistband really does feel comfortable under a pack's hipbelt. They're a little pricey, but they deliver. The only negative I have is pretty minor. I deal with a lot of cacti on climbing approaches and hikes; the pants do a pretty good job of holding up to the the scratches and pokes, but a good 'stick' will actually pull a tiny tuft of the material out of place. It won't go back with any amount of stretching or wiggling. So, after a while you get lots of tiny little fuzzy tufts sticking out. This doesn't affect the functionality of the pants and all. It just makes the look a little ratty after a few dozen tufts. I only think this is really a problem with cactus (or brambles, or other thorny things). I haven't had any problems with they're abrasion resistance on rock (granite, limestone, anything).

Not what I expected The pants are just ok. They are comfortable with a good amount of stretch. I was disappointed to find out that it has no back pockets. And the pockets are VERY small. I have a 32" waist, got the medium and it fits fine.
