Patagonia's rock climbing customers and pro athletes alike wanted the proven performance of Patagonia's Guide line but in a lighter fabric and with a more contemporary look. The design and feel allow for apr®s-crag chillin' without sacrificing even a sliver of athleticism. First and foremost, these lightweight, soft, stretch-woven nylon pants serve a primary purpose: climbing. Articulated knees and a gusseted crotch allow effortless high-stepping and stemming, and they have a 2-way zippered fly for hassle-free relief while wearing a harness. The athletic (not baggy) cut includes straight lower legs with a wide hem, making for easy-to-roll-up cuffs that stay in place through footwork-intensive routes. The button waist has belt loops and a brushed interior for next-to-skin comfort. Pockets include two handwarmers and one glued-on right thigh.
