Excellent Solo Tent Weighing just under 3 lbs. with rain fly and footprint, the Sierra Designs Lightyear is an excellent choice for the soloist. I find that the non-symetric floor plan actually creates more room for gear that I want inside the tent with me. This is not a standalone tent but can be set up with only 2 stakes in good whether and when fully staked out is very secure. The ventilation is good and for my 5'6" frame the headroom is more than adequate. It packs up very compactly. I really like this tent!
