GREAT SHORTS! I LOVE THESE SHORTS. I've been looking all season for some boardshorts that are functional. I've looked at many. Rarely do swim/beach shorts for women have POCKETS. (Dear designers -- we don't go everywhere with a purse.) These boardshorts have 5 with mesh and drain holes! I've been visiting the tide pools lately and need pockets for gear. The 2 cargo pockets have Velcro closure security. So, when I have to jump into the water to get to the next area, my stuff is safe. The other 2 side pockets hold the abandoned fishing line I collect. And there's the zippered waist band stash pocket for my car key and $10 for tacos. I debated a long time over these and the Xcel Infiniti board shorts. I opted for these even though they are more expensive, because of the design and look. After a full day at the beach, I feel more comfortable walking into a restaurant in shorts that look more like everyday clothes than swim wear. They fit great. The gusseted crotch is also a winner and is comfortable and range-of-motion friendly. I have not tested them at the beach yet to see how their water wicking ability is. I'll try to get back with a review about that. Right now, they look and feel GREAT. A+ to Gramicci. I will keep my eye on this company. Thank you, Altrec.
