Metolius: Cam Lube (Spring 09)

Metolius Cam Lube is a patented, waterproof, dirt-repelling lubricant specifically designed to keep your cams working smoothly and grime free. It's highly recommended prior to first-time use, but it's also suitable for used cams (seasoned cam owners should check out the Metolius Cam Maintenance Kit). After application, Metolius Cam Lube dries as a waterproof film on the cam surface. As dirt attaches itself to the film, it flakes away from the cam, removing the dirt and prolonging the overall life of the mechanism. Metolius Cam Lube is also suitable for application on wet surfaces, although the flaking, dirt and water film won't harden until the cam is dry.
