Good buy for kids bag We bought this for my sons first backpacking bag. He is 11 about 4'8" so we thought it would be a good bag to grow into. The first trip with the bag was in May and it rained the entire trip. Despite the cold wet weather, he said he stayed plenty warm (every night was in the thirties). It was a little bigger and heavier than we had hoped for, but with a good compression bag he was able to pack it with ease. We are going to get a lighter bag though for longer backpacking trips (we have a 7 day streneous trip planned for August). Great buy still for short trips or standard camping.
