Well worth the money I bought this jacket for my mom who's in her 60's. Not only does this jacket keep her warm but she looks hip in it too. Plus it's so light, it doesn't weigh her down. She loves it. All of her friends want to know where they can get one too.

Light, stylish and lofty Got this jacket for backpacking in the Sierras, so the light weight was important. It weighs in at its claimed 13 ounces - pretty good for a full fledged down jacket. Took it on a visit to my mother in Sweden where we had rain, hail and snow. I stayed warm and dry, and the jacket dried off quickly once I got inside. My mother likes it so much, now I think I'll have to buy her one. One caveat, I normally take a size small, but the size 6 was a little short in the sleaves and the body so Altrec let me return it for a size 8. Great jacket and great service from Altrec.
