Very pretty and flexible jacket Very pretty, I think it looks nicer than the picture. It's a nice lightweight, water proof shell, with a fleece zip-in. Probably not as warn as the nice down jackets my daughter is use to but really like the flexibility - will be a nice stand-alone rain jacket too. The sleeves of the outer coat have velcro to adjust tightness t - I personally prefer the light stretchy material to the velcro since we've had the velcro rip on other jackets before but this looks well enough made. I think it runs on the bigger side. My daughter is almost 9 and generally wears a size 10 in shirts so we ordered the 10/12 and it's big - if purchased it at the store we probably would have gone down a size. For comparison, her North Face parka from last year was a size 7/8 (S) and it's a bit small so runs bigger than North Face.
