Favorite around town and on the trail This has become my favorite all around jacket, I wore it through the entire southern NY winter without need of a wind shell. It is perfect for hiking on winter days, or lunch at windy overlooks and summits. At 23 oz (658 g), it is a bit heavy for lightweight backpacking, and an inside pocket for hat and gloves would be nice, but I still pack it on all my day hikes.

The best fleece I have ever owned. This fleece fits and looks great. I especially like the zipper pocket on the sleeve, perfect for my ipod. I liked it so much that I bought a second one so I could have another color. I also gave two of them as Christmas gifts this year, (they too were impressed). This is the perfect fleece for those windy snowy days. Shipping was fast and the service from Altrec as usual is second to none.
