Patagonia's bombproof belay parka just got better, with superior PrimaLoft® One (170 g in the body; 133 g in the hood and sleeves), a hydrophobic, more thermally efficient insulation that stays truly warm even when wet, is more compressible, and takes up significantly less pack space – but is just as warm. The light-yet-tough quad-ripstop shell (1.7-oz 30-denier 100% all-recycled polyester) with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds snow and blocks wind. An adjustable hood fits over helmets, and the high front insulates your face. Finer points: insulated handwarmer pockets, a chest pocket, inside mesh pockets for drying gloves and a 2-way front zip that lets you see your belay device. Stuff sack included.
