Patagonia: Men's Shotover Down Jacket

For the Patagonia Shotover Jacket for Men, the designers borrowed the fundamentals of an alpine shell; sealed seams and a waterproof/breathable barrier, then added a warm layer of 600-fill premium down and styled it all to prevail against the demands of the urban environment. The Shotover Down's shell is made from two layers of durable 6-oz polyester (50% recycled) with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish for water and snow protection. Inside, a soft lining of 1.2-oz all-recycled polyester glides over layers and holds the goose down insulation secure; diamond quilt baffling minimizes bulk. There's also a zippered interior pocket for stowing valuables. Cozy, weather-sealing features include a drawcorded waist, microfleece-lined collar and chin flap, Polartec® Power Dry® lined cuffs, and a below-the-waist length. Pockets: two handwarmers, two gusseted chest pockets and a vertical zip chest pocket. The insulated hood zips off when the skies clear.
