Superb Hiking Boot Hiking boot fit perfectly right out of the box. Very lightweight and grippy on most surfaces. My only complaint is it doesn't do well on wet/algae covered rocks or wet metal. Other types of terrain (dry rock, mud, dirt) this hiking boot will absolutely eat through and give you the best grip. I will without a doubt be ordering another model of Merrell's as they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

Best of the lightweight hiking boots I have never found another boot that would stand up to wear while being so light and supportive. The Chameleon Ventilator, now in its third iteration, is absolutely the best for desert hiking in any terrain.

Great, Lightweight hiker... I have owned several pairs of Merrell hikers and all have been great hikers, but these are my favorite. Lightweight and extremely comfortable and the thing I like the most about them is that they breathe really well resulting in a foot with minimal sweating on warm days. Great for all around hiking, have wore them for 10 to 12 hour days and never get tired of them.
